  • Management of all warehouse receipts, including weighing, documentation, sampling and initial quality control.
  • Oversight of the full drying process.
  • Inventory control within each storage facility and related inter process flows.
  • Optimisation of product flow between drying chambers, storage areas, sorting and further processing.
  • Ensuring that safety standards and risk control measures are maintained at all times.
  • Day to day management of warehouse staff, including effective shift planning.
  • Reporting daily, weekly and monthly figures to senior management.
  • Implementation and maintenance of SOPs for all warehouse processes.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years' experience in a warehouse, production or processing management role.
  • Experience in operational production management within a processing plant or warehouse.
  • A tertiary qualification in operations management or a related field.
  • Experience in staff supervision and leadership.
  • Experience in planning and reporting on various processing operations.
  • Knowledge of the macadamia, nut or seed processing industry will be beneficial.
