OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Location: Eastern Chrome Mines Western Chrome Mines Middelburg Area

Requirements: 3-5 Years' experience in Opencast Mining as Contracts Manager 5 Years' experience in Opencast Mining as Site Manager Certificate of fitness Mining/Civil Engineering Diploma or relevant qualification Surface Blasting Ticket (Opencast Mining) Valid Code 08 Drivers Licence

• Surface Blasting Ticket (Opencast Mining)
• 5 Years' experience in Opencast Mining as Site Manager
• 3-5 Years' experience in Opencast Mining as Contracts Manager
• Mining/Civil Engineering Diploma or relevant qualification
• Project Management qualification and/or experience
• Commercial contract management skills
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Certificate of fitness

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Client relations
• Ensure that effective operational planning and production targets are generated
• Compile reports
• Oversee costing
• Manage commercial contract with client(s)
• Legal compliance
