Job Description

Overview

Job Purpose: Preparation of New Business cases for Private Wealth Managers, in line with compliance requirements.

Job Role Overview:

  • Complete client onboarding process & FICA verification process
  • Generating provider quotes & risk and/or investment proposals
  • Case Management:
    • Preparation of Sign-up documentation (internal documents, client advice records, provider paperwork)
    • Signed documentation to be uploaded to internal CRMs/Platforms.
    • Implementing transactions for new and existing clients by interacting with the Privat Wealth Manager and New Business Administrator and client. (ensuring all parties are kept up to date on events and transactions).
  • Maintaining Good Record Keeping
  • Drafting and sending correspondence to client and external providers.
  • Generating servicing transactions for clients:
    • Switches/Fund Selections
    • Risk servicing
    • Changes to debit orders
    • Withdrawals
    • Additional Contributions
  • Resolving adhoc client queries:
    • Beneficiary amendments
    • Static details changes
  • Ensuring that client files and transactions are fully compliant
Qualifications
  • Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Regulatory Exam 5 (RE5)
Skills
  • Understanding of the financial planning process
  • High level of financial industry technical knowledge
  • Fully computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to manage own time and workload effectively
