OMF Branch Manager (OMF Mall of Africa)
Job Description
Manages a team of financial and client relations consultants and oversees all branch processes to achieve objectives and drive overall performance. Holds individual accountability for sales targets, ensuring they are met over periods ranging from one day to three months. Supports and motivates the team to drive sales and service of insurance and lending products while fostering referrals, collections, and proactive communication of clear expectations. Acts as a profit centre manager, balancing product sales, service quality, and expenses. Supervises performance appraisal, disciplinary matters and staff attendance. Conducts manager reviews, enforces policies, procedures, and company values, and ensures audit compliance. Develops consultant capability through talent identification, coaching, mentoring and targeted development plans focused on sales and soft skills. Plans and monitors daily and future activities to maintain smooth, efficient operations, and manages expense and cost control to support profitability. Maintains people, systems and equipment to promote professionalism. Delivers superior customer service, resolving client queries and complaints promptly. Manages relationships with internal & external stakeholders-including RMM, i Wyze, Octogen, PFA-and manages the referral process. Identifies and markets new business or sales opportunities to sustain growth.
