About the RoleAs our Office Manager, you will be responsible for creating a warm, professional reception experience for visitors, managing our switchboard, coordinating meeting rooms, and supporting various administrative and office management functions.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our environment is organised, tidy, and efficient - contributing to a positive impression of the business both internally and externally.
Key Performance Outputs Reception- Welcome and direct all visitors professionally
- Maintain a clean, inviting reception area
- Keep office and entrance neat; liaise with cleaning services and landlord
- Receive and transfer calls to appropriate staff
- Take messages when needed and ensure smooth handover when away from desk
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders professionally
- Manage room bookings and availability
- Ensure rooms remain neat and prepared
- Arrange catering, refreshments, and meeting setup when needed
- Record and manage access tags
- Assist various departments with admin tasks and filing
- Assist with travel bookings (flights, accommodation, car hire)
- Conduct monthly credit card reconciliations with Finance
- Manage office maintenance issues with relevant service providers
- Oversee purchasing of office groceries, cleaning supplies, and stationery
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 / Matric
- Office Administration/Management certificate or relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar office management or administrative role
- Excellent email etiquette and switchboard experience
- Strong planning and organisational abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal relationship-building
- High attention to detail and a results-driven approach
- Professionalism, tact, and discretion
