Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Office Assistant/Cleaner to join our team. The role will primarily involve maintaining a clean and organised office space, as well as providing administrative support to the office staff.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and maintaining the office premises, including dusting, mopping, and cleaning communal areas
  • Ensuring that all areas are kept neat and tidy at all times
  • Monitoring and replenishing supplies like milk, sugar, tea, coffee and cleaning materials
  • Assisting with basic administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
  • Running errands as required
  • Ensuring that the boardroom is ready when clients visit the office for meetings
  • Providing general support to office staff as needed
  • Preparing and serving tea, coffee and water to staff and clients, often during meetings
  • Assisting with general cleaning duties, such as cleaning the office vehicles from time to time
Qualifications
  • Matric certificate
  • Previous experience in a professional office setting
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and basic computer skills
