Job Description
The Successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Commercial seedling production according to international quality standards
- Daily planning and implementation of irrigation and pest control program
- Guide & manage the irrigation team
- Maintain & operate growing supporting systems
- Conduct seedling production trials
Requirements include:
- A tertiary qualification in agriculture or horticulture
- Experience in intensive vegetable farming will be an advantage
- Computer literacy (word, excel, power point)
- Fluent in English & Afrikaans (write & speak)
- Ability to work in a team, delegate and follow up
- Ability to work in a smoke free environment
- Valid driver's licence
- Own transport
