MANCOSA, a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education distance education provider, offering undergraduate and postgraduate business qualifications, has the following vacancy available:Multimedia Graphic Designer - DurbanA Graphic Designer in the Marketing Department is essential to ensure consistent, high-quality brand execution across all campaigns and platforms. An in house resource will improve turnaround times, reduce reliance on external agencies, strengthen brand governance, and support effective student acquisition and engagement initiatives.To conceptualise, design, and deliver visually engaging, brand-aligned content that supports the marketing and communication strategies of the institution. The role spans graphic design, multimedia production, and digital content creation-supporting initiatives across brand, digital, events, PR, schools engagement, and institutional teams. The ideal candidate is creatively agile, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about using emerging technologies and AI tools to elevate content.

Creative Design & Content Production

  • Design compelling visual content across digital, print, and multimedia platforms: social media graphics, brochures, ads, posters, banners, emailers, presentations, and campus signage.
  • Capture and edit photo and video content for campaigns, campus life, and academic promotions.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, visually consistent, and aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including:
  • Brand - to evolve and protect visual identity.
  • Digital - to support social media, web, and SEO initiatives with optimised creative assets.
  • Events & PR - to design launch, expo, and conference collateral.
  • Schools & Student Recruitment - to develop engaging visuals for youth-focused outreach.
  • Institutional & Academic Teams - to visualise impact stories and programme-specific content.
  • Translate briefs into innovative visual narratives that meet strategic goals.

Tech-Driven Creativity

  • Remain at the forefront of design and content creation tools, including AI-based platforms and visual content generators.
  • Experiment with new media formats, interactive designs, and automation tools to enhance content quality and efficiency.
  • Contribute to innovation projects in marketing tech and digital storytelling.
  • A degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience in graphic design, content creation, or visual media (education industry experience is a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Experience in photography, videography advantageous.
  • Tech-savvy with a strong interest in exploring AI, animation, and emerging creative tools.
  • A strong, diverse portfolio of previous design and content work.
