Key responsibilities/main job outputs: Duties and Responsibilities
  • Liaison with professional teams. Detailing & general arrangement of water and civil engineering drawings inconcrete, pipe works, rebar drawings, bending schedules including long sections and networks
  • Design & detailing of water engineering infrastructure with model design using technical & 3D/BIM, ACC, Revit and other modeling skills;
  • Engineering designs in project teams under the guidance of the Lead Engineer.
  • Model the elements in 3D/BIM based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations;
  • Implementing knowledge based on functionality into the model to ensure that the contractor can build it according to our model without revising it;
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team across borders; coordinate with other disciplines;
  • In addition to participating in projects, contribute to the optimization of internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within the field;
  • Regular contact and communication with the ProjectEngineers;
  • Ensure that work is done in accordance with acceptable standards of both Atanaand its Clients;
  • Maintain project records in accordance with internal QMS.
  • Site inspection and client / internal meetings.
  • Leading, managing, and mentoring juniors in the modelling team through skills transfer.
Job Requirements Minimum required qualification:
  • Minimum of5 - 10+years relevant experience, preferably within the consulting engineering builtenvironment.
  • BIM & Revit expertise and experience are non-negotiable.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo, Python, and other ways to automate your work are highly beneficial.
  • Experience with Common Data Environments and other relevant platforms
  • Sound water engineering knowledge and experience required.
  • Experience with water infrastructure type projects required
  • Appropriate knowledge of local and international standards and codes.
  • Multi-disciplinary proficiency and ability to readily develop into other disciplinary roles if required.
