Job Description

CBM360TIV is seeking a skilled Mining Inspector to support mineral loss control, inspection, and compliance activities across mining operations. The role focuses on ensuring accurate material accounting, operational integrity, and adherence to industry standards.

Reporting To

Project Manager / Site Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections of mining activities, ore handling, and stockpiles
  • Monitor mineral extraction and transportation to minimize losses
  • Verify sampling, weighing, and material reconciliation processes
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and reporting protocols
  • Prepare inspection reports and highlight discrepancies or risks
Education & Qualification
  • Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
Experience
  • 5-10 years in mining operations, inspection, or mineral control
  • Experience in African mining projects preferred
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of mineral sampling and inspection procedures
  • Familiarity with quality control and reporting systems
  • Understanding of mining operations and material flow tracking
