Job Description

A Mining house based in the Gauteng region is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager

Duties:
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans.
  • Lead and manage resources to deliver production targets and projects as required.
  • Maintenance Strategy. Develop, implement and monitor engineering maintenance, risk and operational strategies and plans.
  • Provide and oversee engineering services, infrastructure (roads, power, water) and equipment availability are adequate and maintained to meet operational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement. Manage, implement and contribute to continuous improvement and asset optimisation initiatives and projects for engineering processes.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical.
  • Government Certificate of Competency - Mine & Works.
  • At least 8yrs experience as a appointed 2.13.1 / 2.13.3.1 appointee.
  • Must have deep level Mining experience.
