Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to manage special purpose machinery and automation projects. The position will involve conceptualizing solutions to solve the client's problem and then managing all aspects of the project including quoting, liaising with subcontractors, managing the installation team and working with the design team.

Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate call-outs
  • Resource Scheduling
  • Liaising with sub-contractors
  • Liaising with customer regarding current and future projects
  • Manage a team of employees
  • Travel from time to time within South Africa
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
Basic Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering degree / diploma or similar Qualification
  • 3 - 7 years Project Management experience in industrial automation projects
  • Attitude is key - We want someone who is willing to work hard and will help us achieve our long-term goals.
