Job Overview

We are working with a well-established UK-based fintech business that has built a strong reputation through organic growth and inbound marketing. With a solid foundation in place, they are now entering an exciting phase of expansion and are looking for a Marketing Lead to take full ownership of their marketing function.

This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in autonomy, combines strategic thinking with hands on execution, and is motivated by driving measurable growth. You will work directly with senior leadership to shape marketing direction, test new channels, and build scalable systems that support long term success.

Responsibilities Organic Growth & SEO (Core Focus)
  • Own and evolve the organic acquisition strategy across SEO, content, and community channels

  • Develop strategies that incorporate both traditional search and AI-driven discovery (e.g. LLM optimisation, AI search platforms)

  • Execute geo-targeted SEO initiatives across key international markets

  • Continuously test and optimise new organic growth channels including forums, social platforms, and community engagement

  • Monitor performance using tools such as GA4, Search Console, and SEO platforms

Content Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and lead content strategy tailored to niche customer segments

  • Produce high-quality written content for digital platforms

  • Repurpose content across multiple formats and channels (blogs, social, email, video scripts)

  • Manage freelancers and external contributors where required

Social Media & Community Building
  • Shape and execute multi-platform social strategies

  • Adapt messaging for different audience segments and customer profiles

  • Build authentic engagement within relevant communities and platforms

Growth & Partnerships
  • Optimise referral and partner-driven growth initiatives

  • Identify and onboard strategic partners and introducers

  • Design and implement scalable growth loops and acquisition frameworks

AI & Marketing Systems
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, research, and campaign execution

  • Build repeatable marketing systems and workflows

  • Implement tracking, attribution, and performance measurement frameworks

  • Develop and manage CRM and marketing automation processes

  • Grow and maintain first-party data assets

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • 4-7+ years' experience in a marketing or growth-focused role

  • Proven track record of driving organic growth and SEO performance

  • Strong content creation and copywriting ability

  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategy with hands on delivery

  • Experience using AI tools to enhance marketing workflows

  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools (e.g. GA4)

  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity effectively

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Reliable internet connection and suitable home working setup

  • Ability to work UK-aligned hours

Desirable:

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or payments

  • Exposure to international or multi-market marketing

  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush

  • Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation

  • Understanding of referral programmes and growth loops
