Job Description

Purpose: To coordinate and support all marketing activities across the organisation's operational bases, ensuring consistent brand representation, effective campaign execution, and strong client engagement. The Marketing Administrator is responsible for managing marketing collateral, supporting events and client initiatives, overseeing social media presence, and providing administrative and reporting support to drive lead generation and align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

Key Performance Areas
  1. Marketing Coordination and Support:

    • Coordinate all marketing activities across operational bases to ensure alignment and consistency.
    • Provide ongoing marketing support and guidance to base teams.
    • Assist with planning, budgeting, and execution of marketing activities and campaigns.
    • Ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business objectives.
  2. Events, Functions and Activations:

    • Assist with planning, setup, and coordination of functions, events, and activations.
    • Ensure all branding, setup, and marketing material requirements are met.
    • Support logistics, including timelines, materials, and on-site requirements where needed.
    • Align event execution with brand standards and marketing objectives.
  3. Branding and Promotional Material Management:

    • Oversee the ordering of promotional items as required.
    • Ensure all items are consistent in quality, branding, and messaging.
    • Maintain brand standards across all physical materials.
    • Manage supplier coordination for promotional stock and branded items.
  4. Marketing Collateral (Print and Digital):

    • Coordinate the design, ordering, and distribution of marketing collateral for all bases.
    • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and quality across all materials.
  5. Create Digital Marketing Collateral for:

    • Bases.
    • Client engagements.
    • Events and functions.
    • Ensure all digital content aligns with brand identity, tone, and visual standards.
  6. Client Coordination and Engagement Support:

    • Coordinate client-related activities, including meetings, training requests, onboarding processes, talks and presentations.
    • Prepare and provide all marketing and support material to clients and teams.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions for reporting and follow-up.
  7. Social Media Management:

    • Ensure a consistent and active presence across social media platforms.
    • Liaise with LMB regarding externally generated content.
  8. Create and Publish Internal Content Including:

    • Client engagements.
    • Events and functions.
    • News, updates, and achievements.
    • Maintain brand voice, consistency, and engagement standards.
  9. Administrative Functions and Reporting:

    • Coordinate and schedule meetings with base teams and stakeholders.
    • Track and manage marketing budget spend across bases and campaigns.
    • Prepare reports on marketing activities, campaigns, and engagement metrics.
    • Maintain records of marketing initiatives, promotional items, and client interactions.
    • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding tasks and marketing requests.
  10. Database:

    • Maintain and update the IOD database with accurate client information.
  11. Resource Management:

    • Monitor and manage availability of marketing collateral and promotional items.
    • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained across all bases and reorder proactively.
  12. Key Areas:

    • Consistency in branding, messaging, and collateral quality.
    • Effective coordination and communication across bases and clients.
    • Efficient administrative and reporting processes.
    • Management of marketing budget and resources.
    • High-quality execution of marketing initiatives and events.

The above duties are not exhaustive and may be amended or supplemented in line with operational requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Matric/National Senior Certificate.
  • Marketing experience and/or formal qualification in marketing.
  • Must have a driver's licence and be comfortable with driving to visit clients etc.
  • Ideally have worked in a healthcare facility or have provided services to a healthcare facility. Should understand market segmentation for a healthcare business.
  • Knowledge of social media content and content that creates engagement for a specific audience.
  • Able to monitor and oversee activities that Base/Area Managers engage in to create leads.
  • Coordinate specific marketing campaigns along with each base manager and then measure the results.
  • Be able to network and meet with C-suite level people.
