Manufacturing Operator (X2)- Herbal Health KZN

Job Purpose:

To support the production team in the safe and efficient manufacturing of herbal medicines and cosmetic products. This role focuses on operating machinery, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring all products meet quality specifications.

• Machine Operation: Assist in setting up and operating specialized equipment for blending, mixing, and bottling herbal and cosmetic formulas.
• Quality Assurance: Perform routine quality checks on batch consistency, colour, and weight.
• GMP Compliance: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a sterile and safe production environment.
• Stock & Inventory: Help weigh raw materials (herbs, oils, extracts) and pack finished goods for shipment.
• Safety & Sanitation: Clean and sterilise production equipment and maintain a tidy workspace to avoid cross contamination.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate batch records and logs for all production runs.

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with a pass in English.
• Personal Attributes:
• Communication: Fluent in English (both written and verbal) to understand technical instructions.
• Physical Ability: Must be capable of standing for long shifts and performing moderate lifting tasks.
• Aptitude: Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn pharmaceutical grade manufacturing processes.
• Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
