Our client is seeking an experienced and hands on Manager: Duty to oversee daily cargo operations and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant freight handling within the air cargo environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily cargo and warehouse operations
  • Supervise and lead operational staff
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety and security regulations
  • Monitor cargo processing, screening, and documentation
  • Handle customer queries and operational issues
  • Conduct daily briefings, reporting, and shift handovers
  • Ensure equipment inspections and workplace safety compliance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Customer service orientated
  • Good planning and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure
Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent (NQF Level 5)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Airline, Cargo, or Freight industry
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Computer literate
  • Valid driver's license and own transport
  • Willing to work shifts, overtime, and travel when required
