Job Description

Business Segment: Personal & Private Banking

Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, 30 Baker Street

To oversee and manage the day to day operational delivery of the attorney liaison function, guiding the attorney liaison deliverables ensuring world class customer service and adherence to the bank's policies and standards to mitigate financial losses and risks to SBG.

Operations

  • 3-4 years A very good understanding of banking principles, procedures, processes, service and products and product knowledge
  • 3-4 years Demonstrated ability to mitigate financial losses and risks through effective management of attorney liaison functions
  • 3-4 years Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • 3-4 years Experience in managing a small team
  • 3-4 years Proven track record of managing relationships with external legal firms and attorneys, ensuring efficient and effective communication and collaboration
  • 5-7 years Demonstrated experience and ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships to drive business operations
  • 5-7 years In depth knowledge of the end to end bond registration process - including pre grant processes, conclude and enable
  • 5-7 years Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and legal processes related to financial services
