Management Accountant

• Prepare and present comprehensive monthly management accounts, including in-depth variance analysis and performance reporting.
• Actively contribute to and support budgeting, forecasting, and proactive cost control initiatives.
• Oversee and report on both operational and capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial plans.
• Uphold and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Foster strong collaborative relationships with operations, procurement, and group finance teams.
• Provide crucial support for audit preparations and statutory reporting processes.
• Drive the continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in management or cost accounting.
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modelling.
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA(SA).
• Prior experience within the mining, metals, or manufacturing sectors.
