Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the Markman, Port Elizabeth team.

  • Carry out maintenance functions to ensure that the machines & factory remain well looked after
  • Conduct maintenance checks on chillers, cooling towers & compressor
  • Repairs, maintenance, and alterations of equipment when required
  • General upkeep of the grounds & structure
  • Welding and fabrication of new equipment and machinery
  • Fill in documented weekly checklists
  • Carry out standby duties
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Qualified Fitter and Turner
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years post qualification experience
  • In depth hydraulics experience
  • Experience in a maintenance environment
  • Experience in steel fabrication and sketch up own design
  • Arc welding experience
  • Injection moulding experience advantageous
  • Hydraulic experienced (Read and interpret drawings)
  • Valid drivers license and own transport
