Job Description
Machine Operator Job requirements 
- Minimum Matric results: Math Literacy-50% / English 2nd Language-50%
- Equivalent N levels in Mechanical and Electrical Subjects
- Must reside within 30km of Samrand
- Must have access to own transport in the form of Bus, Taxi, Lift club, Own vehicle
- No criminal Record
- Work experience: Minimum of 3 years as a machine operator in Toilet paper converting.

- Understanding of Mechanical/ Pneumatic/ Electrical systems including but not limited to: Air cylinder assemblies, Solenoid valves, Belts, Gears, Pulleys, Chains, Electric motors, AC/DC circuitry
- Proficient in operating, setting up, and troubleshooting converting machines (e.g., slitting, rewinding, embossing, and cutting equipment).
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, drawings, and technical instructions.
- Familiarity with automated production lines and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Ability to perform product changeovers efficiently.
- Ability to identify and resolve machine faults and production inefficiencies.
- Basic diagnostic and repair skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations (e.g., lockout/tagout procedures).
- Awareness of hygiene standards for paper products
- Machine setup, calibration, and operation.
- Quality control and adherence to production standards.
- Troubleshooting and basic mechanical repairs.
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards.
- Teamwork and communication for smooth production flow.
- Ages 25 - 40
- Reside in: Olievenhoutbosch/ Tembisa or 30km radius from Samrand
- English Proficient
