Logistics Supervisor

Granor Passi (Pty) Ltd, a leading fruit processor in South Africa, its Head Office situated in Polokwane (Limpopo), seeks to employ a Logistics Supervisor in Marble Hall Factory to effectively coordinate the activities applicable to Logistics Department.

To effectively coordinate the activities applicable to Logistics Department (Receiving and picking of stock).

• Effective administration, processing and reconciling of documents.
• Keep proper records for control and auditing purposes.
• Effective coordination and logistical planning.
• Cost effective transport and timely delivery to customers.
• Accurate and timely recording and reporting on stock with reference also to (but not limited to): "on-hold-stock" and expired stock.
• Stock control and updated record keeping.
• Ensure loads leave GP correct and all paperwork is in place.
• Proficient service delivery to internal departments.

• Grade 12 and a National certificate in Supply Chain.
• 4 years' experience in a food factory environment, of which at least 2 years in Import and Export.
• Computer literacy.
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluent in English.

• Knowledge of quality and food safety standards i.e. ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000.
• Working experience in Microsoft Office and Sage.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Hands on approach.
• Deadline driven.
• Accuracy with figures.
• Ability to motivate employees.
• Good administrative skills.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations.
• Time management important to adhere to deadlines.
• Must be able to plan, organize, delegate, control, prioritize and work under pressure.
