Job Description

Hello Group is seeking to appoint a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch Lead Assistant to support the dispatch and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will assist with order picking, packing, stock control, and coordinating dispatch activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Duties and Responsibilities Dispatch Operations
  • Pick and allocate the correct stock according to picking slips with 100% accuracy.
  • Assist with processing, organizing, scanning, and labeling orders for dispatch.
  • Prepare orders by strapping and wrapping stock for delivery.
  • Assist with processing courier dimensions and waybills.
  • Support drivers, couriers, sales representatives, and wholesalers with loading and offloading stock.
  • Ensure the dispatch floor remains clean, organized, and safe.
  • Track orders and assist in ensuring dispatches are completed within SLA timelines.
  • Assist in coordinating deliveries and updating relevant teams on order progress or delays.
Receiving
  • Assist with offloading delivery trucks and receiving stock.
  • Help with unwrapping, packing, and organizing stock within the warehouse.
  • Assist with processing stock returns, transfers, and credits.
Stock Control
  • Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly stock takes.
  • Ensure the correct stock is loaded for dispatch and collections.
  • Work with the inventory team to ensure the correct stock is used for picking slips.
Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric).

Previous dispatch, warehouse, or logistics experience will be advantageous.

Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
