Job Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JOB PURPOSE:

BKBis looking for an energetic Loadmaster to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the driving of the truck, loading and offloading of livestock, as well as building pens, for Special and Stud auctions and to ensure that all auctions run smoothly. The candidate will also be responsible for the reparation of equipment for Special and Stud auctions.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES:
  • Grade 12 with atleast 3 years' relevant experience or Agricultural industry knowledge
  • Valid EC license
  • Valid PDP (Public Driver's Permit)
  • Must be fully bilingual (English/Afrikaans)

KEY REPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:
  • Responsible for effective and efficient logistics and administrative processes.
  • Loading and offloading of livestock equipment at auctions and building of pens
  • Completion and submission of proper accounts and offloading tickets
  • Ensure all equipment and gates are maintained which includes welding(basic maintenance work)
  • General auction site organization and related functions
  • Management of wages employees
  • Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles by following Company procedures
  • Management of diesel consumption
