Job PurposeThe Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to supervise, manage and control the Regional Library and the service it delivers to the public libraries in the region.
Requirements- An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Library Science, Information Sciences or equivalent qualification;
- A minimum of 1 year relevant experience;
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Notes- Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting.
