Job Purpose

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to supervise, manage and control the Regional Library and the service it delivers to the public libraries in the region.

Requirements
  • An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Library Science, Information Sciences or equivalent qualification;
  • A minimum of 1 year relevant experience;
  • A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Remuneration

R - R per annum (Salary level 7)
