Lecturer: Primary Agriculture L2-L4

Requirements- Matric certificate/NCV L4 plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National diploma/ bachelor's Degree) in Agricultural Science or Agricultural management having majored in Plant Production and Animal Production.
- Must have a professional qualification in Education.
- Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- SACE registration.
- 1 year teaching experience in Primary Agriculture L2-L4 will be an added advantage.
- Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Legislation governing the sector.
- Responsible for teaching L2-L4 Primary Agriculture.
- Preparing assessment and moderation.
- Conducting assessments and marking of tasks.
- Conducting ISAT, preparation of file (POA & POE), record keeping and lesson planning.
- Conducting classes on the above-mentioned subjects.
- Organising relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners is conducted in a proper manner.
- Assess and record attainment of learners.
- Assist with issuing and retrieval of textbooks, management of equipment, etc.
- Organise experiential training for students.
- Report and account for student performance in their programmes.
- Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning.
