Kitchen Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and capable Kitchen Manager to run the kitchen of our busy, vibe restaurant and bar.
This all day eatery is looking for a responsible individual with prior experience to manage daily kitchen activities, including:
- Food Preparation and Cooking: Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
- Inventory Management: Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring ingredients are fresh and available.
- Kitchen Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring staff performance.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Managing food costs, reducing waste, and optimizing spending without compromising quality.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Quality Control: Tasting dishes, checking the presentation, and ensuring high standards are met consistently.
- Collaboration: Working with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Have minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
