Overview

We are looking for an experienced and capable Kitchen Manager to run the kitchen of our busy, vibe restaurant and bar.

This all day eatery is looking for a responsible individual with prior experience to manage daily kitchen activities, including:

  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Inventory Management: Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring ingredients are fresh and available.
  • Kitchen Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring staff performance.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Managing food costs, reducing waste, and optimizing spending without compromising quality.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Quality Control: Tasting dishes, checking the presentation, and ensuring high standards are met consistently.
  • Collaboration: Working with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Have minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Perform well under pressure on a daily basis
