Job Description

Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen according to hygiene and statutory requirements to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 and a Basic Cooking Course
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the kitchen environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) are essential.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as and when required.
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Must be a team player.
  • An ability to follow and adhere to a strict daily schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery are thoroughly cleaned, and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring that all floors, walls, tables, and store shelves in all kitchen areas are clean.
  • Rotate in ALL areas in the Kitchen when required.
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking.
  • Assist in serving meals when required.
