Are you an experienced and driven sales professional with a passion for developing international markets? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on growing business across Sub Saharan Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the export portfolio, establishing and managing distributor relationships, and driving sustainable sales growth in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research potential markets and assess opportunities for product distribution.
  • Identify and engage with prospective distributors and installation partners.
  • Develop and implement effective regional distribution strategies.
  • Establish, train, and support agents or distributors to promote and sell products successfully.
  • Conduct regular client visits, providing ongoing sales and technical support.
  • Monitor agent performance and drive growth to achieve full market potential.
  • Prepare visit reports, market analyses, and presentations for management review.
  • Manage product and pricing master data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
  • Liaise with Supply Chain Coordinators to ensure smooth order-to-cash processes.
Key Markets:

Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Somalia

Frequent travel across these regions will be required. A valid passport and willingness to travel are essential.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in a technical sales environment, preferably within Sub Saharan African markets.
  • A post matric qualification in Marketing, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of international sales and export processes.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with exposure to ERP systems (such as SAP or Pastel).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Confident, resilient, and capable of thriving under pressure.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong problem-solving ability.
