Junior/Trainee Packaging Technologist - North West - £23-25k Basic + benefits

Leading the way in print, innovation and packaging technology, we require a person to join our Own Label team as a (Junior/trainee) Packaging Technologist. This role involves interaction with all product buying areas, packaging and product suppliers and involves travel including Europe. This job will help support product launches by specifying materials, suppliers and obtaining all sizes so design and artwork can be produced. We will support you in your qualification as a Packaging Technologist if required so you can advance in the team.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with various product buying areas, packaging, and product suppliers.
• Travel regularly, including to Europe.
• Support product launches by specifying materials, suppliers, and obtaining all required sizes for design and artwork.
• Plan and manage projects efficiently.
• Take part in training to become a fully qualified Packaging Technologist.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal communication at all business levels.
• Hands-on, deliberate, articulate, organized, and punctual.
• Strong planning and project management ability.
• Drive and willingness to learn; prior experience in artwork or packaging is beneficial but not essential.
