Job Description
Location: Johannesburg North, Gauteng
Salary: R10,000 - 17,000 basic + commission
Type: Permanent, with three-month probation period In-Office
An established international recruitment business is seeking a Junior Recruitment Consultant to support a high performing global recruitment team. This role is ideally suited to an HR Administrator, Recruitment Administrator, or Office Administrator who is eager to transition into full recruitment and build a long term career in the industry.
You will work closely with senior consultants, supporting candidate management, recruitment coordination, and backend administration within a fast paced, professional environment.
This is a fully in office position and may require flexibility beyond standard working hours during peak recruitment periods, events, or client deadlines. Applicants must be comfortable working in a high responsibility, deadline driven environment.
Minimum Requirements- Degree or diploma in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Marketing, or similar is preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in HR administration, recruitment support, or a client facing administrative role
- Exposure to recruitment processes or B2B environments is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable using MS Office, LinkedIn, and digital systems
- Professional, reliable, and proactive
- Able to work independently in a fast paced office environment
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence (Essential)
Recruitment & Candidate Support
- Reviewing and managing CVs and applications
- Screening candidates for international roles
- Scheduling and coordinating interviews
- Preparing candidate profiles and shortlists
- Managing and updating job adverts
HR / Recruitment Administration
- Maintaining accurate candidate records and databases (ATS)
- Managing recruitment documentation and reporting
- Invoicing and candidate tracking
- Assisting with travel bookings and logistics
- Supporting recruitment events, career days, and international visits
Communication & Coordination
- Professional communication with candidates
- Internal coordination with senior recruiters
- Supporting client facing tasks when required
