Our client is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join the Port Elizabeth team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems
  • Support senior engineers with engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare and update technical documentation, reports, and manuals
  • Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and inspections
  • Assist with maintenance planning, fault finding, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with South African standards (SANS), safety regulations, and company policies
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders when required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost saving projects
  • Maintain accurate engineering records and drawings
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements at all times
Requirements
  • National Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Recently graduated or up to 2 years' relevant experience
  • HVAC industry experience will be an advantage
  • Candidate must already reside in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
