Our client is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join the Port Elizabeth team.
Responsibilities- Assist with the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems
- Support senior engineers with engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare and update technical documentation, reports, and manuals
- Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and inspections
- Assist with maintenance planning, fault finding, and root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with South African standards (SANS), safety regulations, and company policies
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders when required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost saving projects
- Maintain accurate engineering records and drawings
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements at all times
- National Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Recently graduated or up to 2 years' relevant experience
- HVAC industry experience will be an advantage
- Candidate must already reside in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
