Job TitleJunior CNC Operator (5-Axis Woodworking)
To support CNC operations within a woodworking environment by assisting in the setup, operation, and basic programming of a 5-axis CNC machine, while gaining hands on industry experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the operation of 5 axis CNC woodworking machinery
- Load materials and monitor machine processes
- Perform basic machine setup under supervision
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Ensure finished products meet quality standardsMaintain a clean and safe working environment
- Support senior operators and production team as required
- Recent Engineering Graduate (Mechanical, Industrial or similar) OR
- Basic CNC exposure (advantageous but not essential)
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Willingness to learn and develop CNC skills
- Exposure to 3 axis CNC machines
- Basic knowledge of CAD or drawing software
- Any CNC experience (woodwork or metal industry)
- Strong willingness to learn
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good problem solving skills
- Team player
- No experience required, but any CNC or technical exposure is beneficial
- Recent Engineering Graduate (advantageous)
