The school provides balanced, innovative education and weekly/termly boarding from Grade 6-12 for students from neighboring countries.

• Adopt a holistic view of students in care, promoting their general progress and well being.
• Create a positive learning environment and motivate students to reach their full potential.

• Plan, prepare, and present engaging isiZulu lessons.
• Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes engaged learning.
• Behave professionally regarding punctuality, conduct, work standards, and student homework.
• Evaluate, reflect on, and refine teaching practice.
• Continuously develop teaching through personal and school wide professional development.
• Teach extra lessons on two afternoons per week when required.
• Produce high standard resources for students.
• Respond to emails and telephone messages from parents within 24 hours.
• Show loyalty to all facets of Reddam House.
• Attend all special occasions at the discretion of the relevant Head.
• Set and mark exams and all other forms of student evaluation.
• Write report comments.

Skills and Previous Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with secondary school students.
• Confidence with the use of ICT in teaching.
• Prior experience with IEB programmes.
• Experience in a high performing international school.

Qualifications and Accreditations:

• University degree in an appropriate subject.
• Certified Teaching Status (SACE).
• Appropriate right to work.
