Qualifications
  • Ideal for qualifying candidates with travel experience - who have travelled themselves.
  • The client deals worldwide, so international product knowledge is very welcome.
  • Travel & Tourism certificate
  • Amadeus or GDS knowledge and an understanding of airfare rules
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • 3-5 years travel industry experience in a retail or tour operator environment is essential with a proven record of reaching sales targets
  • Practical experience with compiling travel packages and creating costings
  • MS Office experience
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of the reservation process from input to output (end to end)
  • Experience with reading and interpreting contracts
  • Accurate, detail orientated and compulsive about taking care of small things
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
