Job Description

  • The Innovation & Digitalization team at BMW Manufacturing South Africa drives smart factory initiatives and digital transformation within Plant Rosslyn.
  • The team works closely with Production, IT, Quality, and Engineering to enhance operational excellence through advanced technologies.
  • Support the development and maintenance of BI reports and dashboards to monitor operational performance.
  • Assist in implementing AI-driven solutions, digital applications, and real-time production tools.
  • Contribute to data analytics initiatives including predictive maintenance and process optimisation.
  • Support cloud-based solutions and digital twin models to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Assist in data visualisation, reporting, and ensuring data integrity and security compliance.
What should you bring along?
  • Diploma in Computer Science.
  • Basic understanding of software development, data analytics, or digital systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Interest in digitalisation, AI, automation, and smart manufacturing concepts.
