Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified In-House Attorney to manage and oversee our Recoveries and Liabilities Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling legal recoveries, mitigating liabilities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.

Minimum Requirements
  • LLB degree (mandatory)
  • Matric certificate must be submitted with the CV
  • Excellent matric results are required
  • Mathematics required - Mathematical Literacy will not be accepted
  • Admission as an Attorney will be advantageous
  • Strong academic background and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee recoveries and debt collection matters
  • Handle legal claims, disputes, and liability matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements
  • Liaise with external attorneys, counsel, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Provide legal advice and risk assessments to management
  • Maintain accurate legal records and reporting
