Our client is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Operator to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team.
- Maintenance of allocated machine on the production line
- Operate allocated machine on the production line
- Assist in routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems, equipment, and machinery
- Conduct regular checks on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Assist in identifying and reporting potential safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or necessary repairs
- N3 - N4 in Mechanical or Electrical preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance & operator role
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge required
- Valid driver's license and own transport
- Candidate must reside in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
