Our client in the Chemicals industry seeks an experienced and hands on HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle and provide practical HR support to management and staff. The role is suited to someone who is confident working across a broad range of HR functions in a fast paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in a generalist HR role
  • Sound knowledge of labour legislation (e.g. BCEA, LRA, EEA)
  • Experience handling employee relations matters
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and employees
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Administer employee contracts, policies, and HR documentation
  • Support performance management processes and employee relations matters
  • Manage external Payroll and IR Vendors
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal policies
  • Coordinate training, development, and skills planning initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee data
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
