Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day to day HR operations and act as the primary HR contact for specific clusters.
  • Manage end to end monthly payroll with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ensure full compliance with Mauritian labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Apply practical knowledge of the Workers' Rights Act 2019.
  • Manage employee grievances professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Handle Industrial Relations (IR) matters, including disciplinary cases and representation.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and team members.
  • Lead performance management cycles and support talent development initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
  • Drive welfare initiatives, including team building events, employee engagement activities, and support CSR programmes.
  • Promote a positive organisational culture and enhance employee well being.
  • Represent the company effectively in external HR related matters.
Qualifications
  • 7-8 years of HR management or senior HR generalist experience.
  • Good knowledge of Mauritian labour laws, including the Workers' Rights Act 2019.
  • Background in grievance handling and IR case management.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage HR operations end to end.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
