Job Description

IsoMetrix is a leading integrated risk management software company with offices in the USA, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom and South Africa. We provide state-of-the-art solutions for ESG, EHS and GRC management.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide strategic, operational, and advisory HR support across our South African operations. This role requires a high degree of HR technical expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive HR excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and payroll operations, and be capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Main Purpose of the Role

The HR Manager will oversee end to end HR operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organisational goals. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, payroll oversight, HR compliance, HRIS optimization, and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities would include but not limited to:

HR Operations & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for employees and managers across SA.
  • Manage external HR service providers, including contract, performance, and cost oversight.
  • Provide expert HR advisory support and ensure alignment to labour law and company policies.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, including agency management, job design, screening, and selection support.
  • Ensure effective candidate engagement and timely recruitment processes.
  • Maintain and update recruitment processes, templates, and documentation.
Employee Contracts, Onboarding & Probation
  • Prepare employment contracts and employee onboarding.
  • Oversee the induction process and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Conduct probation review cycles and support managers with performance assessments.
Employee Relations & Experience
  • Manage employee wellness, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Support managers in handling performance issues, PIPs, and employee concerns.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive organisational culture.
Performance Management & Talent Development
  • Administer the full performance management cycle and ensure system accuracy.
  • Maintain performance data for development, promotion, and succession decisions.
  • Coordinate external training, SETA-linked programmes, learnerships, and BBBEE skills development requirements.
Payroll Oversight & Compliance
  • Oversee monthly payroll processes in partnership with payroll providers.
  • Review payroll inputs, exception reports, and statutory submissions (EMP, ROE).
  • Ensure accurate processing of deductions, benefits, bonuses, and statutory updates.
HR Reporting, Governance & Compliance
  • Prepare HR reports, analytics, and dashboards as required.
  • Manage Employment Equity, Skills Development (WSP/ATR), OHS, wellness and culture committees.
  • Ensure HR compliance with labour legislation and organisational policies.
  • Support BBBEE verification processes and documentation.
Learning, Skills Development & LMS Administration
  • Administer the eLoomi Learning Management System.
  • Coordinate training plans aligned to organisational competency needs.
  • Maintain training records and support SETA submissions.
ISO9001 Quality Management (HR)
  • Support the Global HR Executive with ISO9001 requirements.
  • Maintain HR procedures, policies, and quality documentation.
  • Track nonconformances, manage audits, and support corrective actions.
HRIS Administration (PaySpace)
  • Configure and maintain Leave and Performance Management modules.
  • Manage KPIs, templates, workflows, and employee data changes.
  • Conduct HRIS audits and ensure data integrity.
Minimum education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • +5 years of Human Resource experience.
  • +3 years of payroll experience
Additional requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS such as PaySpace and Power BI.
  • Exposure to payroll processes and systems ("e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP, etc.").
  • Good knowledge of local and global employment/labour law.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary
