Job Description

Quantum Insights is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Help Desk Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Help Desk Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal employees and external clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and enjoys helping others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve technical support requests from employees and clients via phone, email, or in person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  • Install and configure software applications and updates
  • Maintain and update user accounts and security permissions
  • Monitor and maintain network and system performance
  • Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement process improvements
  • Document and track all support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on technology best practices and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus
