Health Merchandiser - Goldfields

Dis-Chem Pharmacies require a Health Merchandiser for their Goldfields store. Your responsibilities lie in ensuring Dis-Chem's basic merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Provide customers with outstanding customer service.

• Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
• Up to 6 months' retail experience (Essential)
• Computer literate - MS Office (Essential)
• Willing and able to work retail hours (Essential)
• Diploma or degree within the Health Focus category (Advantageous)
• At least 1 year retail experience (Advantageous)

• Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
• Ensure delivered stock/stock pulled from the store room, is stored and packed in the correct space.
• Ensure full range of products is on the shelves at all times.
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular, First In First Out basis.
• Assist with general stocktaking.
• Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times, with correct labels and pricing.
• Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained.
• Maintain daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays, and be responsible for your designated stock in the store room as well as on the shop floor.
• Assist with back shopping.
• Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.

• Strong command of the English language (Essential)

• Trustworthy and honest (Essential)
• Time management (Essential)
• Bilingual (Advantageous)
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and the FMCG industry (Advantageous)
• Product and category knowledge (Advantageous)
• Ability to analyse ZMORE reports for ordering and stock taking (Advantageous)
• Report bad/suspicious behaviour relating to both staff and customers (Advantageous)
• SAP (Advantageous)
• Unisolv (Advantageous)

• Willing and able to work retail hours
• Able and physically fit to lift and move heavy boxes, and ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
• Reliable transport and/or reside in close proximity to the store
• South African citizen
• Clear credit and criminal records
