Business Segment: Personal & Private Banking

Location: ZA, undefined, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30

To design and implement strategies for the recovery and rehabilitation of the maximum possible value of all secured assets (immovable, tangible and intangible) which are related, whether directly or indirectly, to any debt owed to the bank where the repayment of that debt or any part thereof is in doubt (distressed assets). To provide leadership, guidance and quality assurance to the Credit Collections Function to manage risk, achieve collections targets and align to best practices

Qualifications

Qualification:

  • Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting, Mathematical Sciences, Risk Management, Quantitative Studies,
Experience Required
  • 8-15 Years' exposure Heading up aHome Loans or VAF portfolio
  • Experienced in Quantitative Analytics and managing a team of specialists in this field
  • The role requires a seasoned, holistic technical leader with a proven organisational capability and profound knowledge of the full dimension of the Credit Risk field but with specific focus on the design of strategies for collections, gained from a track record of 10 years plus in functional leadership. Banking experience covering collection and recovery, portfolio analysis and/or credit risk management. Legal, Regulatory, Compliance proficiency in supervising and managing foreclosure process
