To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost effective way.

We are looking for a Handyman with strong experience and knowledge in air conditioning (at least 2 3 years).

• ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12
• DESIRED EDUCATION: (None specified)
• ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION: Driver's license
• DESIRED CERTIFICATION: Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme

• ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years' experience in building maintenance and repair (skilled) or Mediclinic qualified (Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme)
• DESIRED EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years' experience with air conditioning.

• Perform technical jobs within the Locality
• Perform administration duties within the technical function
• Identify and mitigate technical risks within the Locality
• Coordinate work performed by on site contractors within the Locality
• Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function

• Skills and knowledge of building maintenance issues
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards
• Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
• Ability to read layout plans and diagrams
• Skills and knowledge of general equipment repairs
