Half-day Finance Administration Officer
Job Description
A reputable insurance company is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Half-day Finance Administration Officer to support its finance operations on a half-day basis. This role is well suited to a disciplined self-starter who can work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, service delivery, and compliance within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities Mailbox and Administrative Management- Manage the finance administration mailbox and respond to queries within agreed service levels
- Issue invoices on a bulk and ad hoc basis
- Send payment receipts to clients and brokers
- Accurately allocate and record payment confirmations
- Respond to payment-related queries and follow up on outstanding items
- Provide payment verification details in line with company procedures
- Issue new and one-off payment links
- Adjust premium frequencies according to approved processes
- Assist with payment mandate setup and troubleshooting
- Send reminders for outstanding premiums in line with policy timelines
- Monitor debtor listings to prevent policy lapses due to non-payment
- Process policy cancellations where required
- Handle reinstatement cases for lapsed policies
- Investigate and resolve failed payments, including Flywire-related matters

Requirements- Previous experience in finance administration, billing, or debtor management (insurance or financial services)
