We're looking for a Guest Services & Rentals Assistant to be the friendly face of our Queenstown Cardrona x Treble Cone branch. This role is at the heart of our guest journey - providing expert advice, seamless service, and helping visitors make the most of their time on the mountain.
About the RoleStep into a fast-paced, guest-focused role where no two days are ever the same. You'll be at the heart of the action - helping guests gear up, get informed, and get excited for their mountain experience. Whether you're fitting ski equipment, sharing the latest snow conditions, or helping someone plan their perfect day, you'll play a key part in creating memorable moments.
In this role, you'll:
- Create exceptional guest experiences, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Handle bookings, sales, and transactions with accuracy and confidence
- Fit guests with the right rental gear and offer expert upgrade advice
- Share up-to-date insights on mountain conditions, products, and services
- Support transport operations and assist with guest enquiries
- Keep the space clean, organised, and welcoming for every visitor
- Help bring the retail space to life and drive product sales
- Introduce guests to RealNZ experiences to make their trip even more unforgettable
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or cash handling
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using systems and accurate data entry
- A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently
- A friendly, professional, and approachable manner
- Flexibility to work across locations and varied shifts (including split shifts)
- Physical fitness to handle equipment and busy environments
