Job Description

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be placed within the Credit Department, based on operational requirements and the graduate's qualification background. The graduate will rotate between the Debtors function and Credit Relationship teams, gaining exposure to the full credit lifecycle and financial services operations within the Group.

The role will provide practical experience in credit administration, credit assessment, and credit risk management, supported by structured training and mentorship as part of the Graduate Placement Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with debtors management, including account monitoring, reconciliations, and follow ups
  • Supporting the credit assessment process, including analysis of financial information and client credit applications
  • Assisting with credit risk management, including monitoring exposures and supporting compliance with credit policy
  • Capturing, maintaining, and updating debtor and credit records accurately on relevant systems
  • Supporting the Credit Relationship teams with administrative and operational tasks
  • Assisting with the preparation of basic financial and credit related reports
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders and clients regarding accounts and credit matters
  • Gaining exposure to credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Participating in structured training, mentorship, and assessments as part of the graduate programme
Qualifications and Skills
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • A University Degree obtained in 2024 or 2025 in a relevant field (e.g. Credit, Finance or related)
  • Basic financial skills, including understanding of financial information and debtor principles
  • Ability to compile clear and accurate information
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Excel and MS Word
  • Good attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving ability
  • Valid driver's license (advantageous)
