An established operation is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and manage vanadium kiln operations. The role focuses on driving operational performance, plant reliability, production efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across the production environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Postgraduate qualification or MBA advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in metallurgical plant operations
  • At least 5 years' experience in a senior management role within kiln or processing plant operations
  • Strong understanding of kiln processes, process optimisation, and plant maintenance
  • Knowledge of SHEQ standards and relevant legislation
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills
  • Experience managing budgets, production targets, and performance improvement initiatives
