General Maintenance Worker

Are you a hands-on, reliable problem-solver who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? Our prestigious hospitality property inHermanus is seeking a dedicated General Maintenance Worker to join our team and support day-to-day maintenance operations across the property.

This is a hands-on, varied maintenance position in a beautiful hospitality setting. Key Responsibilities including:

• Perform daily maintenance across the property
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures
• Respond promptly to maintenance call-outs to ensure guest comfort and safety
• Carry out general repairs including plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, and basic building maintenance

• Proven experience in general maintenance within a hotel, estate, or similar environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or standby when required
• Strong problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
• Valid driver's licence (advantageous)
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Relevant qualification or trade experience will be advantageous
