Gaming Technician
Job Description
Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per Annum (Depending on experience and skill set)
The Electronic Gaming Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic gaming machines (EGMs) and associated systems to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and minimal downtime. This role plays a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting gaming operations, and delivering a seamless experience for guests.

- Previous experience as an Electronic Gaming Technician or in a related technical/electronics field
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Electrical Licence
- Understanding of gaming machine systems and casino operations (advantageous)
- Ability to obtain and maintain an NT Casino Operative Licence (COL)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electronic gaming machines (EGMs)
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues
- Assist with installation, upgrades, and gaming machine moves
- Ensure compliance with NT gaming regulations and internal procedures
- Monitor systems and respond quickly to faults to minimize downtime
- Support Gaming Operations during peak periods and events
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
